Blackwater
"Indian village on Gila River Indian Reservation . Papago name is "Oo-Kut," "Standing Tree". The Pima "Calendar sticks" speak as early as 1871-1872 of a Pima Indian known as "Old Man Blackwater", but who he was or how he go the name no one could say. Post office established April 18, 1907, Samuel Pinkley Post Master."
